Care Instructions

SIX STEPS to unbox your new plants:

step 1:

unbox the package carefully to avoid cutting into the plants

step 2-1:

If the plant is in a nursery pot, please do not repot it. leave it in the pot for at least 10 days. Rehydrate the substrate if it is dry

step 2-2:

For unrooted cuttings, please put them in filtered water for the first 6 hours. For unrooted nodes, please leave them in the medium they were shipped with. Rehydrate the medium if needed

step 3:

Put the plants in shaded area and avoid strong high light for at least 24 hours.

step 4:

Humidity-loving plants and unrooted nodes will need a boost of humidity right out of the box. Make sure to have a propagation box ready if the humidity level at your home is less than 70%

step 5:

Maintain the optimal conditions for smoother acclimation.

SHIPPING 

Please take into consideration the potential risks before making a purchase, as extreme weather conditions may affect your shipment. We are shipping plants from Southern California, and during the Winter months, we recommend that you check your current weather before placing your order. If necessary, please add heat packs to your order, as we cannot be held responsible for any damages during transit.

We reserve the right to hold any orders in the event of unfavorable weather conditions. In such cases, we will contact you and request your guidance on when it is best to send the shipment to your local area. Furthermore, please note that we reserve the right to cancel any orders.

To ensure that your shipment arrives in optimal condition, we highly recommend selecting express shipping and including a heat pack if temperatures in your area are consistently below 50 degrees.     • When can I expect my plants?

    Please note that our shipping schedule is from Monday to Thursday. The delivery time for your order is dependent on the number of orders before you in the shipping queue. If you place your order after 12am on Monday, it may not be shipped until the following week.

    We strive to process and ship out all orders as quickly and efficiently as possible, but please be aware that there may be some delays due to high demand. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these times.

    We highly recommend placing your order as early as possible to ensure that it is processed and shipped in a timely manner. If you have any further questions or concerns regarding our shipping schedule, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are always here to help.

    • Will I get  a notification when my order ships?

    We have an automated system in place that sends an email with shipping and tracking information as soon as we have shipped your plants. To ensure that you receive this information, please make sure that your email address is entered correctly when placing your order.

    Please note that once you receive the tracking number, it is your responsibility to keep track of the delivery and ensure that you are available to receive the plants at the time of delivery. We highly recommend regularly checking the tracking number to stay updated on the delivery status of your order.

    If you have any further questions or concerns regarding the shipment or delivery of your plants, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our team is always available to provide assistance and ensure that you have a positive experience with our services.

    • What is the message responding time?

    We value your inquiry and strive to provide prompt and efficient customer service. Our team makes every effort to respond to your message within 24 to 48 business hours, but please note that our customer service is not available on Saturdays and Sundays.

    If you contact us after 5pm PST on a Friday, please expect to receive a response on the following Monday. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.

    • Will I get refund or replacement if the plants arrived damaged during transit? 

    At our greenhouse, we take great pride in the plants we grow and personally tend to each one with care. When it comes to shipping live plants, we do our best to pack them as carefully as possible to minimize any potential damages during transit.

    However, it's important to understand that there are many factors that can affect the plants during the shipping process, such as weather conditions, carrier handling, transit time, and delays. We highly recommend that you do your own research and check the weather before making a purchase, as we cannot be held responsible for any damages, leaf loss, burned plants, delays, lost packages, or broken leaves caused by shipping carriers.

    Please keep in mind that the plants will be in a dark box for approximately 2-7 days during transit, and it's normal for 1-2 leaves to fall off as they acclimate to their new environment. But rest assured, they will recover and grow new leaves in no time.

    Some plants and node can get rot easily during transit. We won't be responsible for the root rot once the plants leave our faculty. Pictures of the plants/ nodes can be provided upon request.

    We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the safe arrival and healthy growth of your new plants.     RETURN

    We want to inform you that all sales are final, which means we do not offer refunds, replacements or exchanges for any reason. We would like to emphasize that we are not liable for damages caused by cold/heat/weather, rot or by the shipping carrier. In case there are issues with your order upon arrival, we advise that you open a claim with the shipping carrier.

    Please note that we are not able to file a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf. You should file the claim and have the shipping carrier contact us if they require any information. We do not initiate any calls to the shipping carriers.

    We would also like to remind you that we have no control over plant variegation. This means that we cannot guarantee the future variegation of nodes or cuttings. Therefore, please take into account the risk of reverting when purchasing nodes and cuttings. We do not accept refunds, returns or replacements if the plants revert.

      DISCLAIMER: Unrooted nodes and cuttings are for experience plant parents only. Please have experience rooting nodes and cuttings. All unrooted nodes and cuttings will be ship in moss. The moss moisture will be on the dryer side to prevent rot. Please understand the risks of shipping unrooted cuttings and nodes. We are not responsible if the nodes arrived damaged.

      IMPORTANT  Please check the photos and notice all the leaf defects if there are any. Pictures are the most accurate description. Please email us if you have any questions before purchasing.

      🌱 All the plants listed here are the plants I love and have personally grown. I will pack them with love and be as careful as possible to minimize damages during transit. Pictures will be provided upon request before shipment. However:

      🌱There are so many factors play during transit that can affect the plants. The weather, how the carrier handles the packages, how long the plants are staying in the dark box, how long they are put outside under the hot sun or in freezing weather, etc. Please do your research and check the weather before you make purchases. I will not be held responsible for, but not limited to, any damages, leaf loss, burned plants, lost packages, broken leaves, etc at the hands of shipping carriers. The plants will be in dark boxes for 1-2 days so please expect to have 1-2 leaves falling off as the plants acclimate to their new homes. But they will get back up and grow more new leaves in no time.

      🌱 If the plants are shipped in pots, please DO NOT repot them for at least 10 days. This is important. They have been through shipment for 3-4 days or more if there is a delay. Please don’t put more stress on them by repotting.
